1. Nature of the Service

Wahriq ("Wahriq," "we," "us," or "our") is a product of Aevion Holdings that provides an authentication and appraisal opinion service for handbags and related luxury accessories. Every submission is reviewed using Wahriq Intelligence, our proprietary visual cross-referencing system. Submissions that are ambiguous, borderline, or flagged for further review are automatically escalated to a trained human reviewer as part of our standard process. Users may also purchase a guaranteed human expert review add-on, which ensures a trained human reviewer personally examines a submission regardless of Wahriq Intelligence's confidence level.

Our authentication result is a professional opinion, based on the photographs, descriptions, and other information submitted by the user, evaluated at a specific point in time. It is not, and should not be understood as, a certified appraisal, a warranty, an insurance valuation, a legal certification, or a guarantee of authenticity, condition, or value.

2. How We Work to Get It Right

Every submission is checked against Wahriq Intelligence's continuously growing reference library, and any borderline case is automatically escalated to a trained specialist before a result is issued — the same layered process behind every result we deliver. As with any expert opinion, results reflect our reviewers' professional judgment based on the photos and information provided, and we're always working to make that judgment sharper. 3. Not a Substitute for Independent Judgment

An authentication result from Wahriq is intended to inform, not replace, your own due diligence before buying, selling, insuring, consigning, or otherwise transacting in an item. You are solely responsible for any decision you make in reliance on a Wahriq result, and we encourage you to seek additional independent verification for any high-value transaction.

4. No Affiliation with Brands, Manufacturers, or Marketplaces

Wahriq is an independent authentication service. We are not affiliated with, sponsored by, endorsed by, or in any way officially connected with any fashion house, designer, brand, or manufacturer referenced on this site or in our reports, including in connection with the goods we review. We are also not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by eBay, Poshmark, Whatnot, Fashionphile, Depop, The RealReal, TikTok Shop, or any other resale marketplace referenced on this site; these are named only to describe the marketplaces our users buy and sell on. All brand, platform, and marketplace names, trademarks, logos, and product names are the property of their respective owners and are used solely for identification and descriptive purposes in the course of providing our authentication opinion (nominative fair use). Reference to a brand or marketplace name does not imply endorsement of Wahriq by that brand or marketplace, nor does it imply that the reviewed item is an authorized or genuine product of that brand.

5. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Wahriq and Aevion Holdings, together with their officers, employees, contractors, and affiliates, shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages — including but not limited to loss of profit, loss of value, loss of a sale or purchase opportunity, or reputational harm — arising out of or related to your use of, or reliance on, an authentication result, whether such claim arises in contract, tort, negligence, or otherwise, even if Wahriq has been advised of the possibility of such damages.

Where liability cannot be excluded under applicable law, Wahriq's total aggregate liability arising out of or related to a submitted item shall not exceed the amount you paid for that specific authentication request.

6. Assumption of Risk

You acknowledge that authentication of luxury goods is inherently subject to a margin of error, that counterfeit techniques continually evolve, and that no authentication method — human, intelligence-assisted, or otherwise — can eliminate this risk entirely. You accept this risk when you rely on any authentication opinion, including one provided by Wahriq.

7. Accuracy of Submitted Information

Our review is only as reliable as the information and images you provide. Submitting misleading, incomplete, edited, or non-representative photographs may result in an inaccurate opinion, and Wahriq is not responsible for results affected by inaccurate or incomplete submissions.

8. Changes to This Disclaimer

We may update this Disclaimer from time to time to reflect changes in our process or for legal or regulatory reasons. Continued use of Wahriq after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Disclaimer.
